Santa Fosca hostel incorporates part of the antique Church 'dei Servi di Maria' (built in the 1400), which was the third largest church in Venice. In a few minutes you can reach the railway station and the bus station of Venice (from there you have the most frequent buses going to the airport). Reception hours ---- Winter schedule (from September the 16th to June the 12 th) Morning: 8.00 AM - 12.00 AM Afternoon: 5.00 PM - 8.00 PM (you can also arrive later than 8 pm but in this event you should contact us at least one day before the arrival to arrange an appointment) Check out: from 8.00 am to 9.30 am (on request is possible to do it also before this time) Curfew: 00.30 AM Lock out for cleanings from 9.30 AM to 12.00 AM. ---- Summer schedule (from June the 13th to September the 15th) Morning: from 8.00 AM to 12.00 AM Afternoon/Evening: 1.30 PM - 12.30 PM Curfew: 00.30 AM Lock out for cleanings from 9.30 AM to 1.30 PM Kitchen use and fridge are only available during the summer season on this time: from 8.00 AM to 10 AM and from 1.30 PM to 11.00 PM. So you can make breakfast, lunch, dinner or just have a break when you prefer. CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations must be carried out 5 days before the arrival date. In the event of a no-show OR a late cancellation Hostel Santa Fosca has the right to charge the first night’s accommodation. !!!SPECIAL INFORMATION REGARDING THE CITY TAX!!! The City of Venice will enforce a new tourist tax for visitors staying overnight, starting from August 24th. The tax, will be levied on the first five consecutive nights of any overnight stay. Tariffs will change according to the type of accommodation and to season. There will be two fares, one for low and on for high season. Ostello Santa Fosca is classified as “Holiday home” and the Venice City Council has set these tariffs for the “holiday home” low season € 1,00 ( per night per person) – high season € 2,00 ( per night per person). Venice City Council indicates as high season: from 24 august to 31 october 2011 from 5 to 11 dicember 2011 from 23 to 31 december 2011 from 1 to 8 january 2012 from 4 to 22 february 2012 from 1 april to 31 october 2012 from 3 to 9 december 2012 from 23 to 31 december 2012
